2011 - the story so far

Okay okay, so we do have even more photos of huge dinners we ate over chrimbo, but I am trying to block those debauched evening out now and try and focus on the recovery stage.

We had yet another great week in Bala, if a little cold. We came back via the Auntie's and had one day back at home before school started. That day was spend panic nesting, as I had to move all beds from one room to another in preparation for the newby child. It was an epic and certainly not my favourity job. But once done we all felt like it had made a big difference.

School started and almost immediately it felt like we had not had a day away. The snow had dissappeared, but it was still cold, my office was 6 degrees for three days, and the class room was only a little bit better at 11 degrees! Still it all got sorted out once the unions asked for a meeting.

After being inspired by Emma and her brilliant efforts on the Marathon training i also have set my sights on some big runs. Peter, Anna and i have all signed up for the plymouth Half marathon in May, and a few others are all up for the very first Gravesy Oke - Ivy run, which will take us right across Dartmoor in August, at a rough distance of 30 miles. with this in mind the training has started and booze has certainly been reduced (on certain days).

We have had several crazy days since the last post, we have catered for the graves family, twice, most of the Barkers once and dealt with a three year olds party. So now it is certainly bolt the door time and quietly await Bernards arrival without distraction.

I'll say that again, just incase anyone missed it - it is certainly bolt the door time and quietly await bernards arrival WITHOUT DISTRACTION.

love to all
